My name is Danitsa. I’m from Switzerland and I’m a singer. I’m a Sagittarius.

Can you share with us the story of how you first got involved in music and what initially drew you to your favorite music genre?

I started music when I was 10 years old with my father, and it began with reggae. Jamaica holds a special place in my heart because that's where I saw my first reggae concerts and had my first studio sessions. Then I discovered hip hop, R&B, soul, UK garage, electro. All these styles inspired me, and my music is a fusion of everything that has influenced me.

Your lyrics often touch on themes of love, personal growth, and social commentary. What inspires you to write, and how do you hope your music impacts listeners?

Music is my personal therapy. It's like an intimate diary that I narrate with melodies. Everything that happens to me in life, all the journeys, all the people around me, and those I meet are my main sources of inspiration.

Looking back on your career so far, what moments stand out to you as particularly memorable or transformative?

I am very proud of the moment when I decided to dedicate myself 100% to music and try to give myself a chance. At that moment, I had just lost my job, and I took it as a sign. A sign that I needed to start devoting myself to my passion.

Performing live is a significant aspect of your career. Do you have a favorite performance or venue, and what makes it special to you?

I love playing at home in Switzerland. We have very good festivals, and the audience is so warm. Thanks to Switzerland, I was able to tour, and it has shaped me now. I love being on stage, playing with my musicians, sharing my work, and interacting with the audience.

And now one final question: you are experiencing this shooting during the PFW, what is your relationship with Paris Fashion Week?

I recently moved to Paris because I'm working on my album, but normally I'm in Geneva, so it's a whole new experience for me. It's always inspiring to live in this city where fashion has an important place, and during this Paris Fashion Week period, people from all over the world showcase innovative styles.
