The First Digital Art Week Lands in London

The British capital is manifesting pure high-tech advancements in the name of Creativity. London is keeping up on the cutting edge of innovation, with venues that transcend visitors in the immersive realms of digital visionaries breaking through the screens in a 360 POV.

From the 3rd to the 10th of November, with a unique array of 40 of the biggest names in the global digital art world, and a series of immersive events, panels, talks and installations, the first Digital Art Week will be the protagonist of the Capital’s most exciting venues pledging to bring “digital art to the masses through a week of awe-inspiring displays”

RED-EYE experienced the first Digital Art Week opening event taking place in the multisensorial realms of W1 cutates in Soho, London.  We dived in the otherworld of one of the most regarded digital art collections named “Disruption” curated and collected by  NFT pioneers 33NFT & The Medici Collection. The two powerhouses linked arms to showcase the grails of the crypto and digital art movement in a 360 environment that blurs the lines between physical and digital.

To elevate the experience were the voices of real endorsers of the Web 3 multiverse. Our senses were amplified by talks unfolding the unknown on What does Web 3 mean for music marketing, followed by a Fire Chat and Live recording for The Metaverse Podcast. To join the live IRL were names of the likes of Jamie Burke, CEO of Outlier Ventures, Tina Ziegler, founder of Avata, and artist Trevor Jones who all raised a light of inspiration towards an open and creative metaverse.

Shaina Silva, co-founder of Digital Art Week, said, “We’re very pleased with what we achieved – not only because this is only our launch edition, spanning such a diverse spread of cutting-edge creative talent, but also because there is a real sense of excitement and optimism about digital art and immersive ‘phygital’ experiences as a whole, seeing innovative artworks and connecting with our peers in person.”
